Idea for feature for audit logs

I was making a report for an event that happened in my server when a user showed signs of being a bot, but I couldnt get some information because when they were banned, the join message was deleted. While this makes sense, I feel it should be possible to see when people joined the server, either through the audit logs or another category incase people joining causes issues for admins of larger servers
