PS5 voice chat delay

I noticed that when using discords voice chat integration from PS5 there is a delay for my voice. It is very slight (probably like a second), but none the less very annoying. 

Any tips on how to fix this or is this a limitation of the integration on PS5?

  I have the exact same issue. There is a huge delay of 1-2 seconds when I go through the Discord integration on my Playstation 5. When I go through the Playstation Voice Chat, everything works fine.

  Been a while but I think I might have a solution. 

  You have to change the channel region to one that is closer to you.

  Right click the voice channel → click edit channel → change region in the region override at the bottom
