    You should just put in your ticket and wait. A long wait. There are no quick fixes here sadly. I had to wait 2 months before I got mine back.

  • My account was hacked as well, and I'm still waiting over a month after submitting the original ticket. I have attempted to submit additional tickets, but they immediately get marked solved with no explanation. It's highly frustrating that this is the only avenue to support that they have. I've been a paying Nitro supporter since the very beginning of their nitro program. And this is how they treat someone who pays them over $100 a year! Disgraceful!

    Doppi  Did you do anything in the meantime? Replied to your own ticket to see if they were still investigating or? If yes, could you explain in details what you did exactly while you waited? I got hacked about a week ago. The hacker changed my password, email and then created another discord and placed my email there and enabled 2FA. And he spent 10 euro on nitro gift using my credit card…

    Nope replying or adding comments on existing tickets just puts you in the back of the line. So best save that for when they actually reply to you.

    Doppi Wow… 2 months sounds so horrible. I've read posts about people that have waited for over 6 months and still no reply whatsoever. This must be fixed. Discord been here for many years and they should by now have learned what types of things going on and just asap fix it. But thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it. I believe it's recommended to just shut down my credit card and then wait until they reply since there's nothing else I can do, mhm?

    Oh and also I made my ticket before creating an discord support account. So right now I am unable to see if they have marked it as solved or not..

    Yea you NEED to write in from the email used to create your account. You do not create a discord support account. You just do the recover password thing and it should auto connect to your right discord on here
    If you do not write in from the CORRECT email they will just bot you and stone wall you.

  • Doppi What if the hacker some how was able to change the email on the account! I've already had a message from basic support tell me that I was not using the email on the account I said was hacked! The only thing I have left to match then is the # sign when you hover it it says the same as my support account name! He has changed the account name twice now! However I never got a email saying he changed the email! Discord Security sucks!

    Well they changed the email on my account as well. In theory it doesn't matter so long as YOU have access to the email and can use it. 
    You use that email to use the “recover password” here in the support portal. Since this part of discord uses diff passwords you should be able to connect your account after getting an email. 
    Discord TaF should be able to connect the dots like they did for me. 
    But hey I just went through this and am just giving my experience. Hope you all get your accounts back.

  • Thanks, I hope I do get it back too. Yes I still have access to original email used to create the account and it was associated with my discord account at the time it was hacked. It's the same email I use here in support.

    Doppi Yeah I still have access to my email to see my mails that i used on my now ‘hacked account’. The hacker did an email and password change and then placed my email to a different account and enabled 2FA. So I have no way to enter it. Even if I did it would most likely be a empty discord account with no servers or friends. So I kinda need them to delete the email that was placed on my hacked account and then take my email that was originally used on my account back to that one as well of deleting the 2FA, so I can set it up myself.

  • Yes eventually, they deleted my account before even hearing from me. Basically blaming me for all of the misdeeds that the hacker did while in control of my account. I lost my fifteen year old early adopter account that had my original previously known as name from when they were still using # on names “EVILT̴̙͓̊̈́Ẹ̵̔̈̆K̶̡̮̰͉̒͆²⁰⁹⁹#2099” I also lost about $30 worth of profile upgrades that they refused to reimburse me for. Not even given me a couple months of Nitro as credit! For this, I will never pay them anything and never buy anything from them ever again! Worst support ever!!!!

    My account was also hacked, and I don't know how to get it back, or the Discord support team would get the chance to disable it? Or is there any other way to messege Discord about this problem?

    I am in a similar situation and all i get are my tickets auto-solved when they're clearly not. on twitter, discord aupport aimply ignores me - i know that's not their issue but they can at least notice when somebody has a ticket.

    it's been 2 weeks and i am already pissed at the lack or even the intention of help.

    I already have messages from friends that warned me of my hacked account trying to contact them. 

    Every moment we spend waiting, these hackers have access to our personal information and Discord is sweeping us under the rug.

  • I will never pay for Nitro based on the way they have treated me! Took 3 months for them to do anything, Then they just delete my account without hearing my side. My account was 10 years old and I had Early adopter badge and several profile things added! I was the victim and discord treated me like the bad guy!

  • The fact is they don't care. They don't need to care. They have such a large user base. Untold thousands of people are paying for Nitro. You're just an ant under their boot. I would suggest everybody here, if you do get your account back, cancel your nitro and never give them any additional money. Maybe if enough people cancel they'll take notice, but I doubt it!

    Since my last comment, I did get my account back.

    The only thing I did differently was answer YES to this question on the support ticket,  “Did you receive an email from Discord explaining your account's associated email address was recently changed?”

    I've been answering NO because I couldn't remember if I did get an email or not, and it's already erased from my trash bin. Right away, a real person answered and switched my email back so I was able to reset my password.

  • If you look back at my post, https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/20574560066199/comments/21180207856535  you'll see that they totally screwed me. I had proof of my account and everything, and they still deleted my 10 year old early adopter account. I have lost so much and it has cost me so much time to reconnect with all the people that I had on that account. Not to mention the bot development that I had done using that account and all of the chat history from all of my friends. 

    So I will continue my crusade to get anybody and everybody who will listen to cancel their Nitro!

    How the hell are we supposed to even get in touch with a (lazy) human when their bots keep closing down our tickets. I am certainly not the only one to whom this is happening

  • I wish I was one of them. I lost so much due to the hacker. It was only compounded that discord deleted everything that I had. They didn't have to do that, but they did it anyway! I have still not regained contact to several people that I knew.

  • No, there's nothing to update. Discord deleted my 10yr old account. I lost all my contacts, my development on Bots and several servers that I managed. All I can do is pick up the pieces with my new account that is not that old. I have, however, convinced about twenty of my friends to cancel their Nitro account. As for myself, I will never Sign up for Nitro or pay for any profile enhancements. They should have supported me better. This is their fault!
