Clicking on the image preview of a link should open the link instead of zooming on the image

99 times out of 100 when I send a link to someone in a call, they want to open the link, but they click the image preview (because it's huge) and a modal shows up zooming on the image instead of the link opening in the browser. They get confused, I get annoyed. It's super unintuitive. 

Please make links behave like links and save me from having to telling my dad "actually you need to click outside of the modal and click on the blue text above to open it” every time I send him an article.
