New UI looks like ass

Everywhere I look it burns my retina, I am unsure how you managed to impose a feeling of claustrophobia while adding humongous gaps everywhere. You added the ability to adjust the width of the channel names and all it cost us was the send message button. The control panel in the bottom left looks like a popup in the worst possible way and why is the top bar so massive only to have the server name in the smallest possible text. If you're going to make server icons square, then at least make them more than half the width of the column in which they reside. 
I am literally canceling my nitro I am so upset.
