new discord desktop interface is hard to use

- buttons (e.g servers, emojis, the DM button at the top, etc) are too small; either undo this, or maybe add a way to change button size in settings? probably in accessibility

-"[person] is typing" is miniscule, very hard to read

- bar at the top looks weird, looks like a notification bar which is hard to ignore, and takes up space that could be used for the rest of the screen. it also doesnt add any information that wasn't already available, it just says what server you're in, which already was at the top, and is still at the top. it doesn't need to exist. 

- dark mode is too dark, even on the lightest setting. maybe add another option, to keep the same shade as the previous dark mode? it's nice to have darker options but the old dark mode was fine.

- widened typing bar is unnecessary. Maybe instead of extending it to the right, let the channels side bar retract (like the member list) or let us resize it as needed (like windows)?
