Important feature for privacy reasons! Servers with lots of members are risky for having real life images of you. While you may still want to use a real image of yourself for private or work/school related servers!

Definitely! Being apart of multiple servers of different cultures, it would make things much easier than explain to every other group the reason behind my icon change!

Yes pls! During the pandemic I started to have school discord servers and I would like to have a more formal picture haha.

24 pages and counting. This has to be the most-requested feature by this point. It would be especially nice during the COVID-19 pandemic to have the ability to set avatars by the server you are connected to for community building purposes.

We are a nonprofit with a 500-people server and this is causing us so much grief. People are not able to use their pictures or change avatars because they are part of so many other servers and they don't want their picture to change there.

Currently this is 9th on the list of most upvoted threads in this section of the forums that hasn't already been completed. I'm sure discord is working on a lot of things right now. I don't think there is any genuine malice in it not being done yet. I do hope that they get to it soon however, especially with things as they are. The prime use for this function is now, with so many activities being funneled through discord. Of course even when things 'return to normal' there were always be desire for this option, but if they struck the iron now, while it's hot, I think they would receive a lot of praise for it.

C'mon guys! We're playing different games and it would be nice to have different profile photos for each server we are in.

Discord does so many excellent things already, but I've wanted this for a long, long time - all the good points have been made above, but this can't be overstated in its importance to those of us who desire it! Please make us happy. <3

One million percent agree. I'm on like a dozen or so servers, each dedicated to a completely different endeavor, and I have to look exactly the same on all of them? Ridiculous.

To think that we can change our nicknames per server, it shouldn't be hard to implement unique avatars. (Although I must say, I do like mine. This one.)

I don't expect, that my post will change anything... but this feature seems to be the most natural thing to change now... As far as I know - many people want this. Including me.
