I didn't see this anywhere but I am part of several RP pages on Discord and it would be nice to be able to have a custom avatar per server. You can change your name on a server but not your avatar. People tend to recognize people by their character, and being able to show each character on each server would be nice.

Hugely necessary now that so many events and groups are virtual. Think how much goodwill this would generate with users during the pandemic

It's becoming clear that the guys at Discord are not listening to the community on here, much less responding. I propose a Change.org being in order, just to grab their attention and start adding the avatars by server feature. If they're still unwilling to listen, however, then we'll have to badger them through Support and have them add that feature or risk getting negative reviews because they weren't responding to Feedback at all.

Honestly, we need to ALL just start tweeting a link to this thread to their twitter. They have it listed somewhere. The guys' personal accounts I mean. Because this should have been implemented LONG before that recent nonsense that they did in the last update that literally no one asked for.

Please add this, it will be very useful for me. For example, my pfp is set to my roblox avatar rn but when I join among us servers I want my avatar different. I think it would be amazing if the discord devs/mods implemented this and made your avatar specific to server. For example there should be a default avatar and when you join servers it should say "continue with this profile picture?" and it should have a "Yes" button and a "Choose a different picture" button. That would be amazing. Please consider this idea.

C'mon Discord! This is my YouTube profile pic because I'm on related servers (with my name as dankbidoof), but I want to have a different picture for my IRL friends' server where my name is BlueZ >:l

There should also be a "manage avatars" permission so that admins and mods can change a member's server avatar.

Funny how Slack, a place that wouldn't have much reason to have different avatars per server, does have this feature already. Can you catch up please, Discord?
