Separate Embeds and "Show links preview in chat"

Right now, if you disable web-links preview - you also lose the ability to see embeds posted/compiled/generated by bots. This seems unreasonably odd, because the option clearly says "Show website preview info from links posted in chat" and has nothing to do with embeds nor should, even if behind the scenes the same mechanism used to process both.

    This is insanely frustrating as a server admin who relies on bots posting embeds and a human who relies on not seeing previews.

    Please, please, please make it possible to see bot embeds while suppressing link previews. They aren't even close to the same thing.

    Yeah, it's annoying and weird. I had made a similar request ages ago on the former Feedback platform that's gone now. With the rise of embed usage nowadays (with slash commands and stuff) this setting is past due to be split.

    P.S.. I just noticed it's an old request here either.
