text channels visable but not accessible

I really wish Discord would integrate the same thing you can do with voice channels how you can make them visible to everyone but only accessible to certain roles. WHY IS THIS NOT A FEATURE WITH TEXT CHANNELS (if it is please correct me and link me to videos showing how to do it) but I have search this up many times!! PLEASE MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE TEXT CHANNELS VISIBLE TO ALL BUT ONLY ACCESSIBLE TO CERTAIN ROLES.

  Use the following perms:

  1. View message history=false
  2. Sendmessages=false

  That should do it.

  It is mind boggling to me as well. I want people to see what they could have access to if they upgrade their membership. Makes zero sense to have it for voice and not chat channels.

  This should exist for text channels.
  
  Read Messages = true
  Send Messages = false
  Read Message History = false (this is so they can't see your old posts. They can see any posts that users post to this channel while they have it open due to the Read Messages permission)
  
  This should be fine in most cases you would want to do this.
