Animated Role Colors

I would like to pitch an idea I've had for a few months regarding role colors. As it stands, users may customize the colors of different roles by assigning to them a particular hex code. However, I believe there is an opportunity for Discord to expand upon this static notion. Adding a variety of effects to a role can add a whole new dimension to the role assignment scheme. For example, if an administrator or mod wants to stand out, they can assign animations to their respective roles (i.e. make their name flash black and white, or pulsate between different colors like backlit LEDs). In one of my servers, I provided users with a link to https://fancytextfont.com/, where they can edit their nicknames to a unique font style. I loved the way server members capitalized on this and changed their names to express themselves. This "animated role" feature could take the form of preset options designed and implemented by Discord staff, or by an "uploadable" option where users can upload their own personal effects.

I would also like to suggest the possibility of making this a custom feature for Nitro subscribers to add an extra layer of incentive to purchase Nitro.
