2FA DESTABILIZATION

Have discord staff disable 2fa if a user has lost their key or something happend to they're backup code, Because we're humans and make mistakes. Plus it's pretty unprofessional to have this being a running problem. You trust 2fa but sometimes mistakes or mishaps are made, why throw all the encounters you've made over your years on being on discord.

    This would defeat the point of 2FA entirely, especially if people were able to socially engineer support into gaining access to an account they don't own, make sure to keep your backup codes safe next time!

    Do you know what 2fa is? It's an extra level of security on your account. The whole point of it is that you have to have a code to get in to your account. There are security measures put in place like the backup codes, but if you are worried about losing access to your account, you could always use an authenticator app that has a backup feature (like Authy).
