Search function is way too fuzzy

In some cases, the search function is actually pretty helpful in how it finds variants of words. But I just now tried to search for generators and got flooded with results containing the words generic, general, generations, and various forms of those words as well. Enclosing the word in quotation marks, which is usually search bar language for "don't mess with this term," did absolutely nothing. Are there any plans to improve this?
