Mute and deafen icons not showing

Today I knew my friend deafend himself but I didn't see the Icon that he was deafend. This was in a private call. I think it was an useful feature to know if someone was muted or deafend in a private call.

    Exactly this, not being able to see who is muted or deafened is very impractical, I don't know why they removed this, I hope it's just a bug.

    not only does my icon show up but my friend cannot hear me and its like i am on mute but it doesn't say
