  The puzzle piece imagery regards to Autism is incredibly ableist. It was originally made to describe autistic people as "missing a piece" or as "unfinished". It was also co-opted by Autism $peaks, a eugenicist hate group who display Autism as a tragic disease that rids a person of their humanity and ability to communicate, which is false and harmful.

  This thread is old, but I'm seconding that the puzzle piece imagery is ableist and that it was coined by a hate group. The rainbow infinity symbol would be a better emoji to add as it was coined by the autistic community as a symbol for all neurodiversity ACCEPTANCE not awareness. Please consider supporting the Autism Self-Advocacy Network instead!
