Overlay For Windows Games

would it be possible to make the overlay for windows store games work and make the games properly detectable

  a few of my friends say the overlay works fine for them, not for me either I think it's a hit or miss sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't with games form the windows store. But I think it's more so Microsoft's end I don't think they'll allow third-party overlays but their own.

   

   One of them said it worked on their last system when they built a new one the overlay didn't work on the new system. My other friend just recently built his system and he says it works just fine.
