Clicking on the end of the text box, sends me to the beginning of the text. How do I fix this?

Long story short, I am on a Mac, and when I do not know what happened. Normally, I click on the text box towards the end, and then it sends me, to the end. Well, it is now sending me to the beginning, unless I am really precise. Can someone tell me how to fix it?
