Invissible Roles and non priority coloring

What if you have a role that you don't want priority coloring the user? or better yet, what if you have a role that you don't want people to be able to give them selves just because it's lower down on the server roles list, what if there was a option so that you could make a role invisible to every role except the roles you choose it to be visible for?

There sure would be handy to not make a role color someone if you want your server simple but you got a bunch of roles to give out, I think personally that it would be a awesome feature for a option for roles to not color the user but you still want that role to have that color?
