Please add a way to disable recommended emoji responses without disabling/hiding all emoji responses outright
Desktop user here. Whenever I mouse over a message now, recommended emoji responses keep popping in and out over the right side of the message. They’re very jarring, harsh, and distracting, and it makes it very difficult for me to read with them zipping in and out all over the place.
The sudden bright colors of them flashing in and out on dark mode is painful with my light sensitivity, and it seems like they’ll result in a lot of unfortunate misclicks, as many messages aren’t an appropriate time to give a heart or a thumbs up. Having all those buttons suddenly popping in and out at such huge sizes kinda seems like a recipe for disaster.
I would greatly appreciate it if there was an option to hide these without disabling the ability to respond with emojis or see other peoples’ responses outright.
(Additionally, and much less urgently, the 'NEW' messages line thingy is also harsh and distracting now too, white text on bright salmon red does not go well with dark mode, and I think it may be more readable and less painful with a darker shade of red.)

Hear hear! If they don't revert it I'd like this at least!

Agreed, I don't have light sensitivity but the emoji thing is definitely more annoying than useful
For now I make sure that the width of the Discord app window is less than ~960px (if the window width is less than this, the emoji options seem to not appear)
But if the window width is just above that, the recommended emojis take up a lot more of the remaining width, relatively, that even clicking a link becomes a hassle quite often

An option to disable this is needed; it is distracting and annoying. If someone likes it they can leave it on, but I didn't ask for it (nobody did) and would like the option to turn it off.
