The new update is awful

I’ve been using Discord for several years, and no update I’ve ever seen has made me this uncomfortable than the one just released on desktop.

On the Friends list, the lack of separation bothers me. All of the details and buttons are bothersome to look at and it makes me want to avoid the Friends tab.

It’s weird not having the lines between different users’ messages. It makes it feel cluttered and unpleasant. The spacing is too narrow and feels nothing like the old cozy mode. 

The new "new message" tag isn't nearly as pleasing to look at as the old one. Something about having the notification on the side instead of spaced in the middle makes me uncomfortable, and the lack of spacing between new messages and read ones feels too squished.

The suggested reactions were the first thing I noticed and it made me so uncomfortable that I ended up turning reactions off altogether. 

The way a message highlights itself when I hover over it is distracting when I move my mouse or when I'm trying to scroll back through messages, and the “More” option on messages looks clunky and awkward.

The new update makes me just not want to use Discord desktop, and from feedback I’ve read from other people and my friends as well, I know I’m not alone.

Please revert Discord back to the way it was. It feels far too cluttered and overwhelming.
