With this new UI change I have become afraid to update discord without looking at what it is first.

1.The highlighting and popup box when hovering over a message becomes a massive distraction

2. The new messages line has become less of the subtle heads up but rather an obnoxious high contrast alert.

3. The removal of lines between messages makes everything look mashed together which Isn't helped by the closer spacing.

For talking about making less clutter on discord you have made even more. There is an appearance tab on your app for a reason, use it.

  Seriously. Can't agree more.

   

  Why would you assume everyone wants to thumbsup and eyes literally every single post? Was adding a reaction too difficult before?

   

  It's all such an eyesore... At the very least, allow it to be on a Toggle? For whatever 13 year old memelords DO want to eyes at literally every post, they can have it... But I would like to be able to remove it...

  Yup, you got me in agreement here.

   

  It's far too much on the screen and you could say 'overwhelming', it is very inconvenient.
