The abitily to have an "in channel" discussions feature?

If we could have an in channel feature where you can start a topic and others can reply directly to that topic but the text will show as a reply rather than a new message in the channel. Many times does a discussion get off topic, scrolling thru countless chats to find whats important takes forever. For example We could go to a channel use the : menu, select "start a discussion" and write in a topic title and message. Then underneath that topic people can reply directly to that topic 😁 Or if we could group together important replys to one topic title that way off topic replys can stay in chat and important on topic replys will show as one message. Kind of like the reddit thing? E.g topic |reply |reply Etc. I dont know but would be awesome to have something like that 🤞😁
