webcam streaming

I really enjoy the feature to screen share on servers and love that it was added however I do wish that you could also use your webcam in servers in the form of a stream not like twitch or anything but just how it currently is in group calls as this would be super convenient and really cool

    I've been playing around with discord as a productivity app at our small software company for remote work and chat.  However, it is very onerous to have a 'google meet' style video conference in the group DM (have to invite everyone manually, everyone must be on friendlist, not just in a server together).  It would be nice if there was a video chat room like the audio chat room, OR if go live could show a webcam, at least one person could broadcast talking at a time (better than nothing).

    I'd love to see something as 'easy' as it is to slip in and out of audio channels, but for ad-hoc video conferencing.

    Yes please I am honestly willing to pay for this feature for webcam IN SERVERS. It worked with creating a link but then discord just patched it for some reason. honestly my business just wont work with private webcams as we have more than 10 people and it doesn't work privately above 10 people. Seriously discord needs to bring webcams on server channels back or at least make it a server boost feature. my business and I are going to leave discord if we aren't able to get something that was a feature. one step forward 20 steps backwards. I reckon if discord was able to figure out how to get this feature working they could've outpaced zoom especially at this time of the year.

    I fully agree with the business application problem. Discord could have become the perfect alternative to zoom, but now it isn't.
