Clicking on a link locked up my phone

I was using a discord on my android phone. When I clicked on a link to an Instagram user's page, the phone started to freeze up. For the past hour my phone keeps crashing over and over again while restarting itself. The touch screen does not respond as a result of it freezing.

  Were you using discord through Multi Parallel, I have the same issue? I managed to fix it by taking a picture on my locked phone then swiping to see photos, unlocking from that page and hitting home
