Change Android Back
The new android GUI update looks awful where you message. We now have a horrible layout, and now there's a button where people are most likely to click to start typing. Change it back to the old design with the plus that everyone is used to and frankly looks better.
Or mess with that without moving buttons around. The plus was sufficient we don't need a separate camera button and image button. You can access the camera through the image button anyway? So what's the point?

Since they're going for the iOS look, why don't they use a nitro gift button instead of a camera like it is on iPhones? it would be atleast more useful

Either way, it doesn't look good. Even if they had a toggle between the old a new version in the appearance settings, that would be sufficient for the users such as myself who would rather have it how it used to be.

they never add a toggle for new/old stuff, and probably never will, so you'll have to get used to it

Oh well, it is something they need to work on then. Hopefully they'll actually listen to their users.

It's even worse for android AMOLED optimised theme (click on dark mode option 10 times, android only), where we now have to compose messages in almost white on white. Hopefully that's just a bug...

Just find the old apk archived somewhere? Or do you mean something with even more ease than that?
