"Installation has failed"
Hello forums. Today I accidentally removed a crap ton of files from Discord's installation directory and when I went into my uninstallation control panel to try and repair Discord, it thought the app was already uninstalled and had a remove the shortcut option.
Also here's the popup if your wondering.

I specifically dont remember what files I removed. Can anyone help me with this? Or even rip the files from Discord itself so I can repair my installation of Discord? By the way I use Windows 7 Professional.
Help? Anyone?

You shouldnt remove any files from discord directory.
Use "submit a request"

I see many people having this exact issue and no one even attempting to help. Any chance of a fix?

i has same issue its not like the programme new on first day of release but to be asked to run it in compatibility mode if encounter problems seems strange .even when i removed the discord file like it said in faq section on failed installation i then tried again only to have to use how to remove discord for corrupt installation.even after uninstalling it i then tried to run bluestacks to find a error message from that pointing at discord all in all 3 hours to get the thing to work only to find out i hate it .

I have solved it by killing all processes because I got another discord error with steam and I have to uninstall it.

Anyone know how to solve it?

Hey, sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your Discord installation Smithfield. It might be worth trying to reinstall the app from scratch if you can't identify which files were deleted. Good luck!
