discord vr overlay idea

i know me and all my friends would love to see a discord vr overlay for steamvr. i know when i  message people when there in vr they say its hard to pause a game take off the head set and open discord just to see a message so if there is a way to make a overlay or hud so when friends message me i get i thing in the top or bottom saying (username) (message) (server or group) anyways i think that would be cool
