Cancelled Nitro. No crypto, no NFTs.

I've already unsubscribed from Nitro after hearing about Discord wanting to add NFTs on the platform. Considering steps have been made to protect users against scams (2FA, bots using slash commands), opening them up to the risks of crypto is worrying as a user. There are countless and recent NFT related scams (such as the Squid Game crypto scam), not to mention how the blockchain damages the environment.

In my opinion, listening to the vocal minority who want NFTs is a questionable action. Becoming pro-NFT will not make Discord a better place. It's an unstable market and is very quickly facing regulation when its supporters tout it as being unregulated.
