Server Boosting is ridiculously expensive

Okay so people say that this system was thought for big communities which constantly rely on their members, but from my perspective this system is stupid as Telegram is completely free i can use banners and anything i want they don’t even have Nitro or premium subscriptions and they still survive, i don’t care about what people say, not everyone has money, we ain’t rich and we can’t afford it meaning everyone has the same rights, huge communities have too many advantages people won’t be bothered to boost our small servers because they’d have literally no reason to keep boosting them and i’m 100% sure that Discord has already too much money considering that billions of people subscribe to Discord nitro everyday. I’m okay with Nitro being a monthly subscription but server perks must be all free and each server must be treated the same or we can make boosts permanent. Telegram and many other platforms are completely free so i don’t understand why can’t we use all the server perks for free, i’d have to get famous and grow a community of 500 people at least to use banners and icons for roles that’s unthinkable. I don’t care if small servers don’t need these perks let people do whatever they want with their servers

    I Understand, why you want all of this features for free, but at first many of the server boost features are features, that cost an extreme amount of space and bandwidth if you could use it on every server, for example the file size limit increase from 8MB to 100MB or the stream limit from 720p30fps to 1080p60fps the second thing is that many user buy discord nitro, because they want to boost a server an with nitro they have the same price as 2 boosts, but they get extra features.

    Everything is expensive so is Telegram, honestly we don't need to keep our data forever, we can use the same system that Whatsapp and Telegram use so we can upload bigger files and use any perk for free why would i care about pictures i sent one year ago for exampe? They can be removed along with all the messages sent over time, i'm sure nobody would care, if Instagram, Telegram, Whatsapp and many other platforms are completely free why can't we.

    Plus we have nitro there is literally nothing they can complain about, if they made up this system which consists of keeping files forever and they can't change it, it's their fault

    What do you mean by saying “also people buy nitro because they want to boost a server” They don’t need to boost servers if every server has already all their respective perks 😂 so like at this point we like this system because servers gives us extra perks we can flex with wtf is this, am i speaking English? Haven’t i made it clear? Try to use Telegram and try to create a server, if they can already host their service without premium perks why 👏 can’t 👏 we 👏
