Improve Your Support Team
I have used Discord for a number of years now, and recently I have just been incredibly disappointed by the company. Your support team is HORRIBLE. As a company that offers such a large service, you guys need to up your game.
Here's a list of a few disappointments:
- Week-long response times
- The first response to a ticket is from a bot who then closes the ticket without confirmation from the user that the ticket is solved
- There doesn't seem to be an actual person on the support team besides bots
- All of your messages are copy-pasted. This is actually good for some cases, but when a user writes a message to you, I would expect that it gets read, and then responded to appropriately, answering any questions the user had. Not repeatedly sending the same message over and over and over
- I opened a ticket regarding something completely unrelated to another ticket I had opened, and the automated response I got HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TICKET!!!! My ticket was then closed and I got an email saying "Hey! Your ticket was solved! Awesome!" No! Not awesome. Ridiculous
If the service being offered was smaller, then I wouldn't be as mad. But Discord is huge! AND you take money from people! At the bare minimum, you should offer a quality level of support for Nitro subscribers.
Discord needs to improve its support system significantly, otherwise, you will not survive for much longer.
