Sometimes I want to display my status to a few certain people so an option to display your status to certain people/blacklist specific users (friends or not) from seeing your status would be a neat feature.

    This kind of selective friendship isn't healthy. If you have people you don't wish to collude with anylonger, unfriend them or block them.

    I understand your point.
    I had to add some persons while in training. This persons (teachers for example) didn't need to know when I was on Discord to have fun with friends.
