Mobile Notifications Just Don't Work
I'm not having a bug, I'm facing a deficiency in the mobile app that has been bothering me for years. I've chosen to ignore it up to this point, and the sad thing is I'm pretty sure this post won't achieve anything, but at least I will have voiced my issue.
Call notifications just don't work on mobile when the phone is asleep.
Every single notification setting is up on my phone. Every setting you could possibly think of is configured properly, but when the phone is in sleep mode, Discord won't notify me of an incoming call. WhatsApp does, phone calls do, every single other app with a call functionality does, except Discord. I keep missing important calls and as I said, this has been going on for years.
It's baffling to me that the app won't just make the phone ring, but that I can't do something as simple as assign a custom ringtone to any given contact, or set some kind of priority so that no matter what, the phone will ring as loud and as hard as it can to notify me of their call.
This is stuff that we could do with MSN Messenger over a decade ago.
That's it? We're just gonna have the app do the bare minimum and only ring when the phone is not asleep?
