As a work around for this you can disable the automatic enable/disable of streamer mode. "User Settings > Streamer Mode > Automatically Enable/Disable" while I understand this is not the solution y...

I feel 90% of people would use this to actually make friends and 10% would use it to screw with people and then people wouldn't want to use it. I like the concept though.
