This is not possible with the current Discord API, except joining a server, which might be possible, but sadly I do not know any bot with this ability.

I doubt this suggestion will be considered, as Discord is using Twemoji, and probably won't add global custom emotes (independent of any server).

You can use escaped (true) emojis in your status. Type the emoji you want in the chat, and add a backslash before it. This will turn it into an actual emoji that you can copy and put in your status...
