Discord will show you sticker suggestions when you’re typing messages to help remind you of all the great stickers that you have ready to use in your conversations!
Depending on your situation, you’ll see either Nitro and/or custom stickers appear in your sticker suggestion box when you begin typing a message.
Using Sticker Suggestions
After typing your message, you can select a sticker to add to a message a couple ways:
- Using your keyboard:
- Press the up arrow key on your keyboard to navigate to the suggestion window.
- Then, using the left and right arrow keys to select a sticker.
- Pressing ‘ENTER’ will either send the sticker in chat or attach it to your message.
- Use your mouse:
- Move your mouse cursor to hover over the sticker you’d like to select.
- Clicking the left mouse button will either send the sticker in chat or attach it to your message.
Protip: You can close the suggestion window by hitting the `Escape` key on desktop! This will prevent the suggestion box from showing until you clear the message field.
