Customisable Mention Colours

As a colour-blind person, Customisable Mention Colours would help me greatly distinguishing between mentions/pings and normal texts at a glance. Difficulty for me particularly arises when using light theme though is not exclusive to it.

This would also help when viewing role colours for me especially, there are other solutions - but this seems to be the easiest to implement.

I would love to hear people's thoughts!
