User Profiles on discord

Hey there,

I am hosting a technological community and found myself implementing a profile system on our bot, so that our members can easily get to know each other (who are they, what do they do, what are their social profiles - github, twitter, linkedin, etc).

Like mine, I've found many, many other similar (non-gaming) communities and I am also observing a trend of professional teams of companies making discord as their go-to place of primary communication.

I think it is time for discord to consider adding user profiles that would allow a user to enter information about them and optionally link to their social presence.
