I want to be able to mute an entire text channel, not just for me, but for everyone. For example, if I have a bot-spam channel then I would like to mute that channel for everyone on the server so that all the members don't have to adjust the notification settings of that channel themselves.

    You can lie take the chat down as a admin or server owner when you change the chat settings to private and disable the rights for the others to read the chat so you could "mute" the chat but if you want to do it like u wrote in your message you sadly wont be able to do this

    I agree with you, I would like to see implemented, the ability to "mute" an entire channel on your own discord server, for example to mute a log channel so that everyone isn't getting pings from it. It would be nice for a "mute this channel" option for everyone in the server, this way the end user doesn't have to mute it for themselves.
