Channel Permissions for Slash Commands
I like the idea of slash commands, but as it stands right now, they override channel permissions, which is a reason not to start using them yet imo. For example, I have a bunch of bots in my server, including music bots. Currently I have a special role assigned to the music bots which allows them to only work in certain channels. With the introduction of slash commands, that role is pretty much useless right now. The only way to stop them from working in a certain channel would be to disable the 'use slash commands' permission for everyone in that channel and that's problematic because a) I have a lot of channels in a bunch of different categories and it would be very time-consuming. and b) doing so would disable all slash commands for all bots, which is not ideal. I think this is an important feature that is sorely missing right now.

Just was about to submit a request for this. Cool I am not alone with this problem.

Thought this problem would be fixed a lot faster by discord 🤷♂️😅

Yup, we badly need this.
Slash commands shouldn't bypass the disabled View Channels and/or Send Messages permissions.

True, I agree as slash commands ignores slowmodes as well and people can just spam a command and cause lag and stuff

Yes, there's really a significant issue with slash commands when taking it to permissions and channel restrictions, like channel cooldows aren't respected by slash commands and if there's a bunch amount of users use them at a same time, I'll like spamming that channel...even slash command bot can have cooldowns, but for their each cooldown will throw a message, and since they haven't access to users messages so they'll stay there plus bot messages as for each commands they require to give output as a followup or reply interaction. So it's true, agree.
