Improving the reply function (tagging other users)

The Missing Link
It would be to the benefit to the system to set the default reply to not tag the other person. It is at least a daily conversation on several servers I frequent where people are unsatisfied getting a ping every message in a conversation, and have to remind people repeatedly to turn off the tag. In the majority of circumstances, it is unnecessary and often considered rude to tag people, so making that the default creates these conflicts.

    Please!!! At least make the default for replying to NOT tag the person, so people who just can't be bothered to take the extra second to turn it off aren't tagging with every reply. Then if you're tagged, you know they specifically turned it on!!
