Reimagining the ways we text
Discord needs more flexibility to function more efficiently, that is why I came up with this idea of combining Wikicode and Discord API. Google Wikitext if you need further information.
- [URL] Creates a [1] blob, which when clicked on, shows the link and when clicked again, allows you to proceed normally.
Currently, if you want to share a link to a certain message/file/picture that is in a different channel, it takes a lot of screen space. This also has beneficial effects on security, if administrators wish to shorten a lengthy url, they may choose to use a scammer.biz.uk/not-a-scam tier link shortener, thus greatly increasing the probability that their users will trust actual scam/phishing links. - [[URL | message]] Places a hyperlink inside the text. That text should be highlighted somehow, that users are aware that it is indeed a hyperlink. Clicking on the highlighted message will prompt the user that they are indeed clicking on a link - and this is the embedded URL.
This can be used by administrators to enforce a specific rule on their server during a conversation or to quickly lead users to a specific announcement message, that may take some time for them to find.
This is just a few things I managed to scribble down and I think there is great potential in this - and in general, creating new tools for server administrators is important.

I really think Discord should implement this.
