    They are not selling their product and microsoft doesn't want to buy the product. Microsoft is in talks to buy the company called discord not the product. That means the company discord will continue developing the product called discord as a subsidiary of microsoft, like mojang and github. the only thing that will happen is either you login with microsoft account or with discord account if not then your discord account will be attached to your microsoft account, and the company discord will have more resources, staff, and servers. Seeing how many controversies discord can make, being a subsidiary of microsoft will hopefully make the employees, and especially trust and safety less dumb and controversial.

    If Microsoft buys Discord, I permanently delete my Discord account. Also, I invite everyone to do the same.

    I am more than fed up with Microsoft's anti-competitive practices and aggressive tactics.
