Feature Request: Ability to Bookmark, or Save Posts to my own Private Collection?
Hey y'all!
Over the last few months I've been interacting with a lot of support teams through Discord, which has been cool to see alternative use of the application. During this specifically, it's made me really want to be able to "pin" other peoples posts to my own private "pins" list?
For example, I ask for help in a help channel, and I get a response. I might not be able to take care of it right away, and that channel is BUSY, so the response back to me gets buried quick, and I end up having to search for my username to get back to the meat of my conversation. I'd love to pin the response back to me, almost in a "read this later" type of fashion? While I could just... copy and paste their response... I think this would be a really useful feature. Another similarity this could share is the DNA of Twitter collections/lists, and beyond just reading posts later because they can't read them now, they can collect funny replies or threads to read for later for enjoyment.
Similarly, with memes/images, while I could just download them to my computer as is the case now, I think it would be way more convenient to pin it to a collection, and have it at my disposal that way. Almost in a Pinterest board type fashion? Imagine privately pinning a reaction image someone posted and then use that for later. Though unnecessary and unrelated to my main point, It would be cool to have statistics to track how many people have personally pinned [x] image or something, which could further cultivate the whole pinning to a private collection thing. Or heck maybe it could be a public collection.
And while Discord probably doesn't have the resources to save images and posts in that way, I think it would be a huge incentive to become a Nitro Subscriber if there was a feature like this that continued to streamline their experience. Anyway, that's my thoughts! Thanks for reading.

having a bookmarks/pinned messages list for each user to make and view privately would be super helpful, yeah
