Custom ping colors

What about a custom the "background" color for pings? I'd like to be able to change the general background color but it would be nice if i could change the color of single persons as well.

    might look a bit busy and harder to read, but a gradient might look good

     

    this sounds like a great nitro perk. Might be cool if non-nitro users had the option between a few colors (red, green, blue) and nitro users had more options with color
