Discord's new redesign

Please, Discord devs, notice the reactions to the new redesign.

For example, this comment by "fellowish" in Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/discordapp/comments/n9s414/its_like_a_4_year_old_was_in_charge_of/)

Just to be clear, as a UX systems designer, this is literally the holy grail of all things shit in UX design:

Saturated dark colors against dark backgrounds are hard to read

White mentions lack visual clarity and are incredibly harmful to individuals with visual impairment

Color redesign lacks contrast and are harmful for individuals who are colorblind and/or visually impaired

Elements lack unity

Logo redesign looks like timmy from elementary school went into ms paint and used the text tool for the first time

saturated, mid-value colors covering large fields are harmful to end-users

text contrast with new colors fails the WCAG test

and even more

I am actually completely baffled at what they were hoping to accomplish here, considering everything they are planning to do completely violates all UX design aspects. It is harmful to the visually impaired, terrible for the end-user due to eye strain, and completely violates all mechanisms already put in place to prevent visual clutter.

They were already doing so well. That's what's so surprising. What changed in management that caused these multiple catastrophic design blunders to occur all at the same time??

Me, as well as thousands of people couldn't agree more with this and the many other posts about the change. I have been using Discord since 2016 and always was very pleased with the updates. They offered improvements to Discord without altering its essence, but this one? This one not... Don't fall into the trends of oversimplified logos, don't change your beautiful pallete, don't fix what is not broken.
