Stop adding basic features to Nitro

Seems like every other month now some fix to a feature that people have been complaining about for years is added to Nitro. I joined Discord way back in 2016 and the message cap and server cap has always been annoying to me. 5 years later they add it to Nitro as a new "perk" but only to the $10 Nitro as well. I fear this will just keep happening and more and more "features" (fixes or extensions to current features) will be added to Nitro to get people to buy it.

    Thought I'd also mention, the "but they need to make money somehow" argument simply makes no sense. Discord is making enough money to sustain themselves for a long time. They could easily add cool NEW innovative features to Nitro, but adding fixes to problems for the app in a subscription model is NOT the way to go.

    If we want to make a comparison, let's take Telegram as an example. It has a limit of 4000 characters in the messages, you can join 500 groups and supergoups of chats (and channels) and video avatars. Not to mention the 2GB upload limit and all this for free.

    Honestly beyond global emojis it's not worth paying nitro when there are free and better options on the messaging market.

    Everyone can do what they want with their money, but if something is not worth it, it is better not to pay, they hurts not to receive money after all.

    Sincerely agree. This is getting insulting at this point. I've been subscribed to Nitro for years, and I'm starting to wonder if that was a good idea.
