Folder Location of Discord APP

Hello, can u please change the Discord APP Folder Direction. It's everytime annoying to make an new Shortcut every Update u did.

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Discord should be the right path for the Discord.exe.

So no more Problems Shortcuts didn't get find anymore after every Update.

Current Folder Path:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Discord\app-1.0.9018

    Discord isn't app made to be modified, also it's against Discord TOS. This category isn't for this feedback.

    I don't want to modified the APP. You missread the Text.

    I want them to change the Location of the Discord.exe File not in the app-1.0.9018 (or any other Version Number till yet)

    to move it into the Main Discord Folder.

    So u don't have to reclaim your Shortcut again and again cause the Folder Location changed.

    I had the same problem, but I managed to find a solution. Just add "Discord.exe" on the end. It will be like that now.

    C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Discord\app-1.0.9152\Discord.exe

    When a newer version comes out, it will have to be changed at this “app-xxxx” place in the code.

    That defeats the purpose because when the Discord application is updated, the app-xxxx changes as well. 

    I agree with atwood in that the application file needs to be in the main directory rather than in a version directory.
