So it's been literally 2 months since I got my account hacked, hacker bought Nitro money and I haven't got a reply.
This is just so ridiculous, the hacker attempted to blackmail me with personal pictures and I can bet he is using my bot to also try to scam other people (I used to own 2 servers with 200 people in them and my bot in them and a moderator for a famous Youtuber community), what's worse is that, I can't even sue or attempt legal action against this blackmail because the Trust and Safety Team is so, slow and inefficient and you don't even have the right to sue anymore according to their TOS. I'm not even gonna sugar coat it, this is the worst platform when it comes to support, they will tell you “We are working as fast as we can”, but their “First to come, first to serve” type of service is the worst, if your account got hacked don't bother sending an email to them, your support, your money, your time it's not worth anything to them. They won't even approve this post because they don't take criticism and I got multiple people who can testify to this, one of them even got their account deleted after a month of no response and he gave up. I'm bringing attention to this issue to the whole community.

really frustrating when the support process feels slow and inefficient. ive been stuck with my hacked account in the hands of the hacker for almost a month now too. hurts alot that there hasnt been any update yet while it was being forward to trust & safety team. please discord we need your help!

But basically my previous comment that was “awaiting” approval was an attached image of a google find result for “FTC” which is an American government website for Federal Trade Commission; which handles complaints for scams and unfair/misleading business practices. Which I will probably open up a case for discord seeing as the elusive “trust and safety” support would fall under unfair and misleading business practices.

And how expensive.
Today I was written back by the support system - not a bot (I guess it's some kind of holiday) saying that my e-mail was not connected to my banned account. Heck, this is the umpteenth time I've sent them screencaps showing exactly how my account is banned when I try to log in to discord, and I've also been sending tickets on the same email I currently have. Do they even understand what I am writing to them?

I waited the longest 25 days, the ticket was open for that much. And then it was closed with no response. I don't know which is worse.
I hope you get an answer quickly. Because this is really disturbing.

Don't worry. I have the same feelings as you. I spent over 5 years on Discord, which I used for remote work (corporation), contacts with the management or friends, and for storing my own files and photos. Despite this, discord found that I had violated some terms of use. I didn't even get an answer as to what exactly it was about, and they only sent me a reference to their rules. And come on, man, think about what you had on discord that made them report you.

Unfortunately, I doubt it will improve. Most companies and applications rely on bots to save time and not get tired, believing that this is a good solution.
There have been cases of bans and taking data from users already this year. Discord support assured that everyone got their account back, even though I know it wasn't true. They closed all my open tickets today. When I told them the truth about their support system, an individual with a name starting with "N" automatically closed all my tickets that were open so far. It is clear that they do not respect or want to help individual users and prefer to support those who have a larger reach or pay more for Nitro. Its very sick

This may be some solution. If they have a large network, maybe they can somehow hit the discord to publicize it. It would also be a good idea to create a chat with injured people whose accounts were banned by Diacord without giving a reason.

After more than a month, my account was deleted. I didn't receive a message from them,but I addressed a letter to them to the court about the data. They will have fun.

Well it seems a previous comment I tried to upload was awaiting “approval” to be uploaded which seems sus as is. I'm also in the same boat which is quite annoying seeing as my tickets been 3 weeks and general support seems to think theres no way we can get hacked if we have 2FA on lol.

What really sucks is the fact that I've spent over 6 years in this platform and a lot of money just so I receive the silent treatment and bot answers.

That sucks. I really hope that things get better in this platform, I doubt it though, been trying to get a lot of people's attention on the matter so nobody else gets through the same situation as me. Not a single cent is going to them either until Discord fixes their situation.

I am only hoping they will answer my ticket, your tickets, and my friends' tickets because it's been more than a couple of months, I'm definitely bringing awareness to this issue everywhere in hopes they will get a hold together. Your information and account is not safe, even their 2FA is a broken feature.

Really, what a shame. It just shows how hollow their safety regulations are. They can't be exposed for how slow and stupid their bot system is. Hopefully bringing this up to a couple of youtubers i'm friends with can raise awareness and make them realize how careless this company is.

Good. Maybe that will move their boat. I got in contact with RubenSim to talk about all the issues with Discord, so he might make a video soon, besides, this is just outrageous, they shouldn't ignore us, we pay for their service (Nitro)

I just dont understand how a business that uses zendesk as a support platform dont have “SLA's” in place to show overdue tickets that haven't been replied to.

I have also just reported this to trade issues. In addition, there is a mention of privacy and the lack of enabling to receive data, despite the fact that they assured me in the tickets that it is possible.

They're still closing my ticket with no response, I reopen it with a reply but not sure if that's better than making a new ticket

Reese Same thing, I just got a reply from one of the trust and safety team member regarding my hacked account saying that the account I'm writing from was not associated with my discord account that got hacked. While this is the same email account which was associated with my discord account before it got hacked.
