Custom App Icons excluded accounts

I have Nitro and don’t have the custom app icons all of my friends with Nitro have, and were announced in the fall release as now available. The custom app icon page says that they’re slowly rolling out, yes, but further down it says now available on mobile and rolling out on desktop. 

Discord support confirmed to me that my account just doesn’t have them, it seems that Discord excluded some accounts from the rollout. While it’s a small feature, why should some people paying for Nitro be excluded from an announced as fully rolled out, paid for feature? Honestly it’s a small thing but it makes me feel quite silly for using Discord and paying the already expensive fee for Nitro if I’m not going to get all the advertised as released features. I understand A/B testing, but this is something that was released to almost everyone last month and which has since been announced as now available. That’s just a bad customer experience, at best. I definitely have a much lower opinion of Discord for excluding a few accounts for no apparent reason from advertised, paid, features that we are paying for.
