    i was disabled for being underage when im over 13. i had to send discord my PERSONAL INFORMATION and i still havent gotten a response. my account gets deleted in a week. i am fuming.

    Howdy sirLunar and others,

    In your case, you attempted to refund nitro outside of the discord support website itself. Doing so causes your account to be disabled without any questions asked, as the Discord team sees this as ‘fraudulent activity’. When refunding nitro or any purchases from Discord, you agree to have your account disabled.


    Rather than taking the safer route and refunding through Discord Support you refunded through PayPal, this is why your account was disabled shortly after.

     

    To any others that have not received a reply from the Appeals team in 20+ days, please read:

    I recommend marking your appeal as solved inside of the ticket itself, then creating a new ticket explaining the situation again, if needed just copy and paste the content from your old ticket over to your new one. Make sure any proper material is attached to the ticket as well if needed. Please note: the more evidence you provide, the higher success rate you will have at having your account reinstated.

    Hi Nugget,

    If your account was disabled due to refunding / fraudulent transactions please refer to the post above.

    If you requested a refund for your subscription, then that is why your account was disabled. If not, you should have received an email informing you of the reason why your account was disabled.

    Hello Nugget,

    If your account was disabled and you did not receive an email explaining why, it is likely your account was involved in servers that were created to purposefully misuse the app and violate the Discord policies. Sometimes when an agent takes action against a server that violates the guidelines, they also purge all of the members inside of the server as well, this is a safety precaution as the members of the server are aware of the content that violates community guidelines.

    If you received no email stating why your account was disabled, it is because there were too many users inside of the server, meaning the bot was unable to forward to email to each and every user. Unfortunately, this is a major flaw because you cannot figure out why exactly you were disabled or what server it was that was removed from the platform.

    For future reference, I suggest staying out of multiple servers or at least leaving the servers you are not active in, this will further help protect your account from any ban waves that occur.

    Hey Haunt stop acting like a bot man, its obviously that there's an error with discord, search “Discord disabled” on “X” (Twitter) and there's a lot of people like us with the same problem, we didnt do something against TOS. We have no answer from a real person from support and its so frustrating

    If you didn't do anything against TOS your account wouldn't be disabled and you wouldn't be on the forums complaining about it either. I already explained the reason as to why your account was disabled, your choice whether or not you read it bud.

    Nugget, you are submitting too many tickets and they are being flagged as spam. The original ticket you created should still be open, meaning it will be reviewed shortly.

    Nugget, Nelly is the bot that flags tickets as spam, there are a bunch of appeal inquiries hence why it's taking a while for the appeals team to get to yours. Please understand that the appeals team is extremely limited and won't be able to swiftly attend every ticket at a fast pace.

    Haunt  I do nothing against TOS and i only have 1 discord server to just chill with friends. As i said, there's thousand of people with the same error. The server still there. Clyde just saying “You violated TOS” but i never write the Discord Username. LMAO. Whats the explanation now?
    Edit: Haunt… Nelly is a bot to just check the threads… Did you work with discord at least?

    Assessing the information you just provided me with, it appears as if your account might've been disabled because of the IP address the account is active on. If you have any family or friends that signed up to Discord using the same IP address as your own, that could be the issue.

    Also, I would like to add that my replies and posts on the forums are not meant to seem “bot-like”, I simply provide helpful insights on problems other people may have. You do not need to include your Discord username when submitting an appeal, as using the email linked the Discord account provides the appeals team with enough information already.

    However, if nobody else has signed up to Discord using the IP Address that you actively use, it is likely there is more to the story. Accounts are not randomly disabled with no reason behind it, if you were given no warnings previously it is likely it was a server that caused the deletion of your account.

    (Side note, Nelly is that spam detection bot, it will mark a ticket as solved if it detects that a similar ticket was submitted previously.)

    Nugget, Completely understandable. I agree with most of the comments, it'd be nice to see a change within the discord appeals team however there is no telling when that will actually happen. Personally I believe they are working on it silently in the background, (hence why the account standing feature was added to the app).
